In this Knowledge Base article, we take a closer look at how the labels and comments features can be used to enhance your workflow as an agency.
You can read more about how to set up labels here.
Below, we take you through a strategy for using the labels feature from an agency perspective.
Identify your scouting assignment
To use the Recruitment application to its fullest extent, having a precise task in mind is advised. For this example, we will be using the following credentials to find high rising talents in regular European leagues:
Age: under 20
Leagues: Eredivisie, Jupiler Pro League, Swiss Super League and Liga NOS
Market value: under €1million
SciSkill 6-month development: at least 5.0
Create labels based on your strategy
Depending on your preference and strategy, setting up labels can be used in a number of ways. For this specific assignment, we want to use data in order to identify high rising talents that can join our agency.
From the criteria above, we refined the players tab to a total of 21 players. In order to narrow our search further, you can tag the players under different labels based on important agency-related factors. In the image below, we have created a number of recommended labels that could be used effectively.
By navigating into a player's profile page, you can then label them as you wish. For example, a player within your search could be worth analysing further in the initial stage of talent identification. Over time, extensive use of the labels feature will transform the platform into a more personalised space based on intelligence within your agency.
Alternatively, the labels feature can be used more for organisational purposes. For instance, you can label players who are part of your agency or known as a top client for a rival agency.
Filter by labels in the players tab
One of the great things about the labels feature is that it provides time-saving functionalities for a number of roles within an agency. For instance, you can coordinate your workflows as an organisation to only analyse players further if they are worthwhile.
For agencies, the labels feature can also be effectively used via the players tab filter. By filtering on labels such as 'Background checks', members within your organisation can easily view players that are worth exploring further.
As shown above, filtering on these labels can then allow you to extract the players via the shortlist function. This allows you a quick and easy way to take it with you for discussion in-house or exploring the player's situation further.
Extend collaboration with the comments feature
Now that we have an effective labelling system in place, you can use the comments feature to communicate with other users in your organisation.
In the above image, you can see on the right hand side how the comments section on a player's page can be used to communicate about a player and track their situation as a team.
