Release Notes – Tag Links on Playlists

Finding the right clips just got a lot faster. Playlists now support tag links: connecting every clip to the players, teams, leagues, seasons and matches it belongs to. The result is a smarter, more structured way to navigate your video library and get to the footage that matters.

Clips are linked automatically

Every new clip added to a playlist is linked automatically to its match context: the match, both teams, the league and the season are derived from the footage, and the player is linked from the event. No manual work required.

Filter playlists and clips by tag

A new filter is available on both the playlist overview and inside individual playlists. Filter by player, team, league, season or match to instantly surface the folders, playlists and clips that are relevant. Without scrolling through your entire library.

Filters can be combined: narrow down by player and team at once, or widen by selecting multiple players simultaneously. Active filters are shown as chips next to the screen title, and filtered views can be shared directly with colleagues via URL.

Tag clips manually

Tag tags can be viewed and edited directly from the clip detail view. Each clip shows its linked tags as chips beneath the video. To adjust the tags on a single clip, select the tag button next to the chips.

For larger updates, a bulk tag editor is available: select up to 100 clips at once and add or remove tags in one action. Type to search across the full tag database, or pick from the tags already present in your own clips.

Tags stay in sync

Tag links are maintained automatically. When a player or team is renamed, the tag updates everywhere: in filter options, chips and clip descriptions. When duplicates are merged, tags are repointed to the surviving tag. When an tag is deleted, its tag is removed.

Availability

Tag Links on Playlists is available now for all users. Existing clips have been updated where possible based on available match and event data. For clips that could not be linked automatically, manual tagging is available.
