Clips can be customized directly within playlists to better match the context of an action. This includes adjusting clip length, adding visual annotations, and preparing clips for sharing or export.
Preparing clips for editing
Before clips can be edited, they must first be added to a playlist.
Clips can be added from:
Event Viewer
Sequences
Passing Network
Runs & Sprints (when tracking data is available)
For detailed steps on creating playlists, adding clips and downloading clips refer to:
Opening the clip editor
Navigate to Playlists.
Select a playlist containing clips.
Click on a clip to open the video view.
Select the edit (pen) icon below the video.
The clip editor opens, providing access to clip trimming and annotation tools.
Adjusting clip length
Clip length can be adjusted using the trimming feature.
In the editor, select the scissors icon.
A red selection bar appears on the timeline.
Adjust the clip by:
Drag the start and end handles of the red bar
Or enter specific time values in the start and end fields
Use negative values (e.g. “-5”) to include time before the event
Please note that the maximum clip length is 35 seconds.

Saving changes
While editing, the clip is automatically saved as a draft version.

Reset the clip to its original state
Select Save & Publish to apply changes to the playlist
After saving:
Changes are visible in the playlist
Shared playlists include all edits among all users
Exported clips (MP4) include annotations and adjusted length
Clip status while editing
While editing, the clip shows different visual indicators that reflect its current status.
Orange pen icon: indicates that the clip has unsaved edits (draft state)
Blue circular arrows icon: indicates that the clip is rendering after saving
Green pen icon: confirms that the clip has been successfully rendered and saved
Rendering starts after selecting Save & Publish. Once rendering is complete:
The updated version replaces the original clip in the playlist
All annotations and trimming are applied
It is not required to wait for rendering to complete before continuing work. Editing can continue on other clips while a clip is rendering in the background.
Leaving the editor
To exit the editor, click the close (X) icon in the top-left corner. If there are unsaved changes, a prompt appears with three options:
Cancel: remain in the editor
Leave: exit without saving
Save & leave: save changes and return to the playlist
