A new level of match analysis is now available with Dimension in the Performance Center. By combining tracking data with an interactive 2D environment, this release enables a clearer and more flexible understanding of team structure, player positioning, and match dynamics. With multiple pitch views, customizable analysis tools, and video export, Dimension gives users full control over how matches are explored and communicated.
Dimension is currently released as an Alpha version. Users can already explore its core capabilities, while further improvements and refinements will continue to be introduced.
Viewing the match from multiple perspectives
Dimension introduces multiple pitch views to adapt analysis to different moments:
Full pitch view: complete 2D overview of team structure.
Final third view: zoomed-in analysis of a key area, useful for set pieces.
45-degree view: angled perspective for better spatial understanding
Adding tactical context with overlays
Multiple overlays can be applied to interpret team behavior:
Horizontal compactness: width of the team
Vertical compactness: depth of the team
Offside line: real-time defensive line height
Half spaces: vertical zones between central and wide areas
Set Pieces: combine overlays and views to analyze positioning during set pieces
All overlays update continuously based on player positioning and can be customized visually.
Structuring analysis with player tools
Player tools allow direct control over how team structure is visualized:
Player groups
Visualize connections and distances within each line
Group players into tactical units (e.g. back line, midfield)
Adjust player order and structure dynamically
Player lines
Draw connections between any two players
Display real-time distance between players on the pitch
Analysis can be exported as MP4 video. The clip includes all applied filters and overlays in either full match, half, or custom time range.
