SciSports is excited to announce the launch of defined Speed Bins within the Performance Center Application. This update enables users to configure physical performance metrics at an account level (only for owned matches).
This improvement adds value for organizations seeking to apply different threshold configurations based on the needs of their matches, squad type, or analytical framework.
Defined Speed Bins now configurable per account
With this release, users can now define speed bins and run type thresholds for each account (only for owned matches). This means that metrics such as Jogging, HI Running and Sprinting can now be aligned with the physical benchmarks most relevant to your organization.
Here you find more information about the defining Speed Bins and the threshold templates.
These templates follow standards used by federations such as FIFA and UEFA, and have been validated in discussions with professional users and national associations.
The Speed Bins can be changed upon request to the SciSports team. The templates apply at account level (your own team matches). Matches from a league database are defined by the league and can’t be changed on account level. Once a new template is applied, all related visual elements (e.g. legends, labels) will update across the application. The new thresholds will only apply to upcoming matches, while previously processed matches will continue to reflect the thresholds that were active at the time of processing.
