Configuration for Speed Bins templates

The Defined Speed Bins functionality allows you to request speed and intensity thresholds that match your organization's analytical needs. As a Club Admin, you can choose from predefined templates or manually adjust thresholds for sprinting, jogging, and running metrics etc.

Important distinction:

  • If your account is part of a league-based database, the Speed Bin configuration is determined at the league level. In this case, the configuration applies across all teams in the league for all the matches in that database and can’t be changed by individual clubs.

  • If you analyze matches outside of the league environment (owned by your organization itself), you can choose your own template or manually define the Speed Bins for your account, by making a request to the SciSports team.

If your organization would like to apply a Defined Speed Bin configuration for (owned) matches, this must be requested by a Club Admin by contacting support@scisports.com. Any changes will only apply to your individual account and only to matches processed after the configuration has been updated.

Please note: Only Club Admins can make a request to the SciSports team.

Templates:

We created a male, female and youth template. Here you can find the information about the speed zones and thresholds. These templates follow standards used by federations such as FIFA and UEFA, and have been validated in discussions with professional users.

In this article you can find all information about the speed zones and thresholds of the templates.
