Overview of the Match Report
The PDF Match Report presents match insights for both teams and individual players, including tactical behaviors, action maps, and comparisons against global benchmarks.
Team Report: includes visual AI summaries, statistical tables, and event-based graphics across multiple phases of play.
Player Report: includes statistical tables, and event-based graphics across multiple phases of play.
SciSports AI Match Analyst
The Team Report also contains SciSports AI Match Analyst summaries for team-level insights. These summaries synthesize event data into short narrative observations to support match review.
Please note: The summaries are generated automatically using AI and rely on the underlying match data. They offer a quick interpretive layer but may occasionally contain inaccuracies or phrasing that does not fully match a team’s preferred terminology. These outputs should therefore be viewed as supportive insights alongside the detailed analysis in the report.

Accessing the report
The Match Report can be accessed in the Performance Center under Data center > Datasets.
Open Datasets in the Data center.
Select the relevant match from the list.
The available report files will appear for download.
Each selected match provides both team and player PDF reports for direct download. The PDF Match Reports are file type SciSportsReportPdf.
Report contents and structure
Team Match Report & AI Summary
Team reports include SciSports AI Match Analyst summaries, offering an automated interpretation of match patterns such as passing tendencies, chance creation, defensive behavior, transitions, and set-piece involvement.
These summaries appear at the beginning of relevant sections, providing contextual insight before detailed visual and statistical information.
Benchmarked statistics
Team Match Reports include benchmarked performance indicators based on:
Standardization per 90 minutes
Comparison to a global average professional team
Percentages showing relative performance against this global benchmark
These benchmarks help contextualize team actions within professional football norms and identify over- or underperformance across metrics such as passing, build-up progression, chance creation and defensive activities.
