Within the filters section, users can filter by debut date to find emerging players within specific markets. For more information on what the filter includes, please see this article.
Below, we will take a specific use case to demonstrate the power of this feature.
Within this use case we are a club looking to cover the Scandinavian market by finding and monitoring emerging talents. The selected leagues we want to cover are:
Allsvenskan
Eliteserien
Veikkausliiga
Since we are most of the way through these seasons already, we would like to gather all players who made their debut in the last six months. To do this, we will input the filter below and get the list of 56 players as shown on the right.
From here, we can begin to attach more information to the players through other features in the platform. For example, we will create a shortlist named 'Scandinavia 2022 debut players'.
Once the players are added to this shortlist, a shortlist icon will pop-up in the player page. Therefore, when creating other filter views we may see that these players are already part of a pre-existing shortlist.
Furthermore, we can add use the Labels function to provide more information on debut players and how to categorise them in an effective way.
In the example below, we are looking at debut players from the top 5 EU leagues over the last year.
Shown above, the Labels attached to three players give an insight on how we currently categorise them as an internal organisation. As a club or agency, you may have your own ranking system that can be integrated through Labels. See this article for more information on how it can be used.
From here, you can begin to categorise the 'undiscovered' players who do not already have a label. Therefore, you will begin to see more tailored information over time related to your specific way of working.
