A player’s Player Role profile presents a complete overview of the roles a certain player has fulfilled in the past eight months. When players are similar, it means that the roles they have been fulfilling for their team lately, are similar.

When searching for similar players to a reference player, the SciSports platform displays the similarity score for each player found. The more the Player Role profile is similar, the higher the similarity score.

With the SciSports Platform, the players who are similar to your reference player are just a couple of clicks away. The similarity search helps you to reduce the number of shortlisted players even further and enables you to spend more time on video analysis and watching players live in action.

To use the similarity search, use the shortcut on your home or apply the similarity filter in the Players section.
