Within the Shortlists section, you are able to create your own shortlists. You can create your own customised shortlists based on any criteria you wish and subsequently exporting them as CSV files.

What's new?

Within the latest release of the Shortlists feature, you are now able to view shortlists of other colleagues in your account. This is to allow for more collaborative features within the platform, building on the recent releases of the Comments and Labels functionalities.

As shown below, you can create shortlists directly from the tab and view some preview information on each list such as: number of players, date created, date last updated and the owner.

What is important to know is that all shortlists previously saved will be automatically transferred over to the new format with the create and updated dates of 30 Sept 2021.

Who can see my shortlists?

Only you will be able to see shortlists created previously to this update (before 30 September 2021). If you want users within your organisation to see your shortlists, follow the steps below. This applies to shortlists you create from today onwards as well.

There are a number of options when creating a shortlist. As shown below, you can choose to keep it private to you, allow colleagues to only view or enable colleagues to view and edit your shortlists. In the screenshot below, you will see the options that are presented to you when creating a shortlist.

The options you choose here can be edited at any time.

Additional tips

We're really excited to see how you use this feature and increase collaboration across the team. A few ideas that we'd like to suggest are as follows:

  1. Take notice of who is adding players to a shortlist. Within each shortlist, the column furthest right shows you who has added the player. This information should help with being able to collaborate more openly - maybe that user has also added comments on the player page which you should check out.

  2. Set up a shortlist first. If you are scouting for a specific assignment, create your shortlists before you start filtering. This will help with being able to add players directly from the Players tab or within a Player Page.

  3. Contact one of our Football Consultants. If you're unclear on how to use the shortlists in the best way possible, please contact support@scisports.com and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
