To compare players: Player Page → Compare → Select up to two other players → Select season to compare.

A key element of the scouting process often involves directly comparing players from different countries and leagues. To support this, we have integrated a Player Comparison feature into the platform, allowing you to evaluate players side by side, regardless of the league they play in, and export your comparisons as a PDF (portrait mode recommended).

This feature differs from the Performance metrics, which compare players by league and position on a per-90-minute basis. Instead, it enables users to compare two or three players based on SciSkill development, Career Statistics, Statistical Profile and Playing Style.

For example, after creating a shortlist of three potential right-backs through a detailed filtering process, the Player Comparison tool allows you to view these players side by side across multiple perspectives, facilitating direct and straightforward analysis.

The overview above offers a quick comparison of three right-backs from Ligue 1, Premier League and Serie A, highlighting key differences.

Using takeaways, the 'base player' (here, Achraf Hakimi) is compared directly with the other two, showing similarities and differences in basic info.

For deeper insight, the SciSkill Development tab displays a scatter graph of each player’s career progression, making their development easy to understand at a glance.

Tracking SciSkill over time offers an effective way to monitor a player’s development relative to other comparable players. Key takeaways clearly summarize the insights from the graph.

The Career Statistics tab provides a retrospective view of important metrics, such as minutes played, goals, and assists, across the multiple league seasons.

The above figures serve as the input for the visual Statistical Profile metric, accessible in the tab below. This feature allows you to compare players head-to-head by overlaying their performance on selected events that are important to you and tailored to your club’s playing style.

You can adjust the benchmark to receive real-time insights into how a player performs relative to peers in the same position and league, with adjustments made to account for differences in league level.

Users can also compare players by Playing Style to quickly spot similarities and differences in their roles each season. Read here more about the different player roles.

This feature enables users to review domestic seasons in detail, assessing whether each player fits their specific requirements. By tracking a player’s role over time, users gain clearer insights into their on-pitch tendencies, supporting more informed scouting decisions through video analysis.

Ultimately, the Player Comparison tool adds valuable context, allowing you to evaluate potential signings efficiently within a single, comprehensive platform.
