The Player Roles shown in Playing Style Blueprint for a given player depend on the payer's position on the pitch. In total, SciSports identified 22 roles which are common in the football industry. However, not each role is applicable to any position. A Centre Forward can show similarities with roles such as Target man, or Shadow Striker, but roles such as Sweeper Keeper or Wing Back are not relevant to him. Below an overview of the relevant Player Roles per position.

Goalkeeper
