The Gravity Card provides players with a quick overview of their performance based on match data. It contains category scores together with one overall Gravity Index score.

The cards combine different aspects of soccer performance into one overall rating, helping players better understand their strengths and overall impact throughout the season. Every player gets a season card and one for each individual match. All cards are shown together in a card gallery. From the gallery you can open the new My Cards page for the full detail behind the scores.

Gravity Cards appear on the player dashboard for players with an active SciSports player account and available Gravity data. Internal club staff always have access to their own players.

The Gravity Card contains player information together with six football performance categories.

All scores are displayed on a 1-99 scale and adjusted by position group to create fairer comparisons between players in similar roles.

There are two card types. They use the same design and the same six categories, but they cover a different period.

Within the selected season the cards are shown as a gallery. The season card comes first, followed by the most recent match cards, up to five on the tile. You can scroll through the cards within the season, and the season selector stays available to move to another season.

A match card is created for matches in which the player played 30 minutes or more. Below 30 minutes the playing time is too short for a reliable comparison, so no match card is generated and the match does not count toward the season card either.

A player can replace the picture on their own card. The picture is stored on the season card and is used on all cards of that player, so a change made on a match card also applies to the season card and the other way around.

Editing the picture and downloading a card is only possible from the player account itself. Club staff and coaches can view the cards of their own players, but cannot edit or download them.

Category scores are based on different events and contributions during a match.

More difficult situations can positively influence scores, even when they are not always successful. This helps reward players who regularly attempt impactful plays during a match.

Only matches in which a player plays 30 minutes or more count toward the season Gravity Card score.

The overall Gravity Index combines a player’s performance across different phases of the match into one final score.

Players are compared only with others in the same position group, ensuring that performances are evaluated against players with a similar role on the pitch. A higher Gravity Index indicates a stronger overall performance.
