We’re excited to introduce Gravity Cards, a brand-new way for players to showcase their football performance through one clear and dynamic profile.
By combining multiple dimensions of match performance into a single visual overview, Gravity Cards help players better understand and present their strengths throughout the season.
One card, complete performance overview
Each Gravity Card combines six football performance categories together with one overall Gravity Index score:
DEF: Defensive actions and disruption
PAS: Passing and distribution
FIN: Finishing contribution
BHA: Ball handling and dribbling
POS: Offensive positioning and movement
IMP: Overall impact on team play
All scores are displayed on a 1-99 scale and adjusted by position group to create fairer comparisons between players in similar roles.
Built on match context, not just statistics
Gravity Cards go beyond traditional stats by including the context behind player actions. Scores are influenced by factors such as involvement frequency, situation difficulty, pitch location and success rate of actions helping create a more realistic reflection of player impact during matches.
Players with an active SciSports account and available Gravity data automatically receive a Gravity Card on their dashboard. Internal club staff can always view the card.
