Compare with the statistical profile

Comparing players using the statistical profile

The comparison feature allows multiple players to be analyzed using the Statistical profile within the Compare module. It enables direct comparison of performance across selected metrics using a shared radar chart and a consistent benchmark.

Accessing the comparison view

The comparison view can be accessed in two ways.

From the main navigation

  1. Navigate to Compare in the top menu

  2. Search and select the players to compare

  3. Select Statistical profile in the left menu

This opens the comparison environment with all selected players.

From a player profile

  1. Navigate to a player’s profile

  2. Select the Compare icon in the top right

This opens the Compare module with the selected player already added. Additional players can be added from this view.

Adding and managing players

Players can be added or removed within the comparison environment.

  • Select Add player to include additional players

  • Remove players using the remove option

  • Each player is displayed with a unique color in the radar chart

Configuring player data

All players share the same data configuration. The filters define the data shown in the radar.

  1. Season selection: Select the season and competition to analyze.

  2. Team selection: Filter data for a specific team within the selected season.

  3. Position group: Define the position group the player has played in.

This ensures all players are evaluated in the same context. Each player represents their own color in the chart (yellow, blue, red).

Configuring the benchmark

The benchmark defines the dotted radar area and is applied equally to all players.

  • League benchmark: Compares all players to others in the same position (450 played minutes min.) and league

Benchmark filter

The benchmark can be defined by:

  • Position group

  • Season

  • Competition

This ensures consistent comparison across all players.

Managing profiles

Profiles determine which metrics are displayed in the radar chart.

  • All players are compared using the same profile

  • Changing the profile updates the radar for all players

Profiles can be edited or created to focus on specific metrics. Find all possibilities in this article.

Understanding the comparison radar

The radar chart displays performance for multiple players in a single view.

  • Each player is represented by a different colored area

  • The dotted area represents the benchmark

  • Each axis represents a metric

  • Values are shown as p/90 per metric
