Through User Management, you can add or edit users and adjust their permissions to access services and functionalities to have the right authorizations for each SciSports product.
What are user permissions?
User permissions determine if a single user is able to use the features our platform offers for their main account. Club admins can edit permissions per user for main features like Recruitment, Career Advice or Performance Center, if these are available for their main account. Within the main features you can edit permissions on a more detailed level.
Where can I find user permissions?
To see the user permissions you have to login as a club admin, click on your profile icon in the right top corner and select “users” in the menu.
Click on “Users” in the left top corner and click the user you want to see the user permissions of. The user’s page opens up where you can find the user permissions.
To see the user permissions click “permissions” on the left side. On the right side of the screen you can see all the services and features our platform offers for the main account the user belongs to.
Note: By default, a user has the same permission to access services as the main account.
Can I edit user permissions?
Yes, a club admin can edit the user permissions of all users within their main account. On the right side you can find all the services and features our platform offers for the main account a user belongs to.
To edit the permissions for a user click on the toggle buttons. You can switch it on (green) or off (grey) whenever you want and always press save to make sure the changes are made.
→ This feature is available for this user
→ This feature is NOT available for this user.
You can turn “on” or “off” the main features and within the main features you're able to micro manage permissions too. For example a user needs access to the Performance center, but there's no need to download files. You can switch on the Performance Center button, but switch off the download files button.
If a feature has an arrow before its name, you can open up that feature and edit permissions more detailed.
An example of micro-managing user permissions is a player who only needs access to “playlist” because their video analyst or coach adds his clips to a personal playlist. In that case all features are turned “off”, besides Performance Center as a main feature and “Playlist” within the performance center.
Can I edit user permissions in bulk?
Yes, it’s possible to edit the permissions in bulk. Go to the overview of all users within an organization and select the users you want to edit the permissions for.
Click on the pencil icon on top of the table and select “set permissions”. You can switch on and off the available features and click on “apply changes” to save.
