The offside rule in football is designed to prevent players from gaining an unfair advantage by positioning themselves too close to the opponent’s goal. It ensures that attacking players remain behind the second-last defender when the ball is played to them, promoting fair play and tactical balance. In Dimension, you may display the offside area. This is bordered by two lines – one for the goalkeeper and one for the closest player to the goalkeeper.
Enabling the Offside Area
1. Select Your Team
Go to the menu on the left side (under General) and select your team.
2. Turn On the Offside Area
Locate the switch next to the Generate Video button.
The switch will be red (off) by default. Click it to turn it on, and it will change to green.
The offside area will now become visible in the 2D view.
